London acquires Yorkshire
In. what appears to be a consolidation M&A deal, Greater London Enterprise (GLE) – owned by the 33 local government councils – has acquired what seemed to be privately run Yorkshire Fund Managers (YFM ) Group. YFM is partially backed by the European Investment Fund and some local, national and regional development agencies, as well as some key clearing banks, pension funds, private individuals and large corporates.
